Hello from the UK!

Post by Ben420W »

Hello everyone

Ive been reading the forums for a while now but since im going to the Dam soon i thought i would register so i could get some info and find out some things before i go. Booked for the 13th till 17th of June and i cannot wait! Its going to be my first time going so hopefully i can learn about which coffeeshops i should find and where the best bud is from you guys :D

I do have a few questions, may as well stick them down here so i dont make lots of posts.

1. Where do i go to find the best space cakes which will make my visit to Walibi Holland that bit more special.
2. Im from the UK so i make spliffs with baccy. When i go into a shop in the Dam, do i just ask the tender if im allowed to use tobacco or if theres anywhere in the shop to smoke tobacco or will there be signs?
3. How expensive is travel in the Dam? My hotel is a 10 min tram ride from the centre and on one of the days im taking an hour long train ride to go to Walibi Holland theme park. Im abit worried that im gunna run out of cash whilst im over there since everything so far seems to be quite expensive.

Thank guys and i hope to get to know all of you more in the coming weeks!

1. Paradox and Basjoe's for the Space Cakes

2. There will be a separate area in many coffeeshops for those of us who mix. But I will say you can mix in many shops if you keep the ratio 50/50 or more on the cannabis side just ask the bud tender. The most common responses are "No" and " just don't keep your tobacco / cigarettes in plain sight"

3. Using the tram system is the way to go.. a 96 uur pass can be bought for 25 EUR and will get you where ever you need to go. GVB.nl.

when your eating the brownies dont go over-board on them either, take it steady and see how you react because its a different type of high, when you smoke you can easily snap out of it after sugary drinks etc... eating it stays in your system for longer as your stomach is slowly ingesting it!

and yeah as YourGuru said, most shops will allow it but just keep your baccy in your pocket

You have been posted on the June Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
