I had the misfortune to get a croquette type thing which was actually a curry slice. Now, i like curry but this tasted like something i stepped in! Also, next morning, it seemed like a flock of pigeons flew out!

I went to the FEBO place on the Damrak during my last visit and was so wasted that I just stood there in front of the display for what seemed like forever, then some Dutch guy asked me for the money I had and he put it in the slot, grabbed whatever it was out of the display, gave it to me and then walked off.

Was all very confusing.

I've been in there a few times, but I never buy anything...I always just wind up wandering to the nearest Middle Eastern place and getting some sort of meat or a slice of pizza. I vow to try FEBO at some point though! Thanks for the good rule to follow too, I'll remember it!

Personally, the best way to kill the munchies is a big thing of Vlamese Frites. You can get a ton of them for under 3.00 euro and you will definitely be munchie-free after you're done.

it is what it is, you cant really knock it. great for convinience and open late, gets rid of all those small coins without embarassment. rarely go now, but used to be in there most nights/early mornings when in town.

I'm with y'all... never eaten at FEBO and don't plan to. Lots of GREAT places with quickie food if that's what you want. I love the croquettes and bitterballen, but have only eaten them at the place across from Tweede Kamer (fast and cheap) and a nice sit down brown pub (VERY well priced, lots of locals) in the Jordaan that's a block passed the Prinsengracht on the corner while on the street that runs parallel with Prins Hendrikkade but down by the canals.
