I never got around to updating this... so here goes...

I definitely wouldn't bother with these again. While the smoke is strong, it's one-dimensional and not that enjoyable. It's just a heavy couch-lock stone without a lot of other stuff going on. The taste is nothing special, piney and smokey. Bag appeal sucks, it's an ugly strain. While it looks nice under the scope and it's nice and sticky to the touch, there isn't the heavy cover of visible to the naked eye trichs that you'd like to see.

The yield was nice for autos, and that's the one thing that impressed. Over 400 grams from 4 plants, not counting the two plants that got turned entirely into BHO.

I actually had some get moldy, two jars were ruined, one of which contained the largest cola. I honestly didn't care, I had plenty of it and didn't like it all that much anyway.

When the grow after this was done (I didn't make a thread, sorry) I still had a lot of this left and turned most of it into BHO.

I saved an ounce or two of this, and don't know why... I doubt I will ever smoke it... but if for some reason it was all I had, you bet your ass I'd be grateful. It's not that it's a bad smoke, but as soon as I had better bud it was easy to overlook this completely.

The bho is getting used up, sometimes on the nail or skillet, sometimes topping bowls... I will say that BHO made from mediocre weed still kicks ass! It is nice to have a lot of it... Probably enough to keep smoking it regularly all summer.

So overall I saved a bit of time growing them, but there are no electricity savings to speak of because I kept the lights going 24/0. An 18/6 cycle would have cut down on the electricity a bit, but then I assume they would have gone even longer. None of them came anywhere close to 60 days from seed. Breeders fault or mine? I guess we'll never know.

Its always a shame when the strain isnt enjoyed after a grow. Its why I smoked the same mother for ages.

Thats a really good yield for autos tho isnt it? My only experience was of a friend who did a LowRyder years ago, put it in the corner of his tent and got just under a q from it. I like the idea of autos, but isnt mothering hard due to the autoflower? I always like to keep a cutting inccase she turns out to be the keeper.

Mothering isn't hard, it's just impossible, you can't take clones from autos

Yes, it was an impressive yield for autos. Most autos I've seen are tiny little plants. These grew to 3 or 4 feet on average, and the tallest one (that made light buds and got turned into bho) was easily 5 feet tall. Not small or stealthy at all.

You can't take cuttings from them and make moms with autos, at least not as far as I know. I did read people specifically state this strain did not work as a mom.

Good to know about not being able to take cuttings.

Would that mean that each batch of Auto seeds would come from different mums and/or dads? Will have a lil look at breeding autos online...
