Silly joint question...

Hi all! So happy to join this forum! I am planning my second trip to Amsterdam shortly and have a somewhat silly question. I was previously a hardcore smoker and honestly haven't smoked in years! I am ashamed as a past smoker to say that I have never rolled my own joint...silly I know. I was just always around those that did or used my bong! I really don't want to purchase the prerolled as I want to try some of the good stuff! Should I bring/borrow a pipe? Do they sell those little cigarette looking pipes? Or should I just give it a go and worry about looking silly?

you can buy packs of premade cones to make it easier at any head shop...and no one pays that much attention to what yer doing so take yer time and have a blast

Thank you! A lot has changed since I was in my college years...back then I'd be looking for the strongest stuff available, now I'm nervous for a mild satvia! But can't wait! Will pick up some cones!

Get a lil' practise in before you go. Once you figure out your best method of that first tuck-in you will get alot better v-quickly.

But as already said, take your time, & don't worry too much.

As everyone else has said, don't worry what anyone else thinks and take your time, it's all good.

Also, don't be afraid to ask someone in the coffeeshop to roll you one if you're really struggling either, most people will be glad to help

and don't forget, there's always pre-rolled, vapes, bongs, and pipes if yer in a pinch.

I was never big into rolling joints before I went to Amsterdam but I can honestly say by the time I left rolling joints was not a problem, all you really need is some practice. Most coffee shops even has some bongs/pipes that you can use if you really don't want to bother or get too frustrated(been there). Have a great trip!!

The key is after you put your weed in the paper press it down evenly with your finger. It makes the roll even and easier to twist up.

My buddy rolls his own cigarettes and gave me some tobacco and papers to knock out a few rolls. It took about 10 trys then I was rolling them fine.

Number one not to worry.

Pipes etc are sold everywhere. I might try to find a cheap hitter box for my five days there. Whats nice is that each puff is completely fresh tasting without any kind of resin char.

Bongs are lots of places but you usually need to ask.

If you find a place with vaporizers--try them.

Those for me were intimidating at first but watch the youtube videos on them and get a little familiar with them-- you're gonna have a great experience.

I'm going with a buddy in July for the Black Crowes and can't wait.

You can indeed buy pre rolled blunts I bought one for my last trip , but it had a wooden filter !? I ended up jus ripping it off and smoking without a filter
