Day 1
Plane takes off and assends at a different direction to it's normal route. My house is 20 miles away from the airport, and it was surreal seeing my village as the plane was assending. I brought my Nintendo 3DS with me and was taking 3d photos from the plane, a great way of passing time.
Arrive at Central Station and go straight to Dampkring 2. One gram of cheese, One gram of amnesia haze, and a gram of sativa mix. Find a nice scenic spot on Brouwersgracht and roll 'n smoke a joint. If you're going to make joints outside, a shoulder bag or backpack is always advisable, so you can build it inside the bag to protect from the wind.
Once I was nicely toked up, I went back to Central Station and bought a 7 day public transport pass for 30 euros.
Get the tram to Zeeburgereiland and arrive at Camping Zeeburg. Set up tent and get back to smoking. Get some sleep after a nightime walk.
Day 2
Wake and bake, then off to Central for food supplies. I'm probably the cheapest bastard I know, so every day I visited Albert Heijn and got my usual supply of a pack of ham, loaf of bread, chocolate, and 6 pack of apple juice. My taste buds crave weed much more than food, so eating nice food is never a priority.
My first park visit to Westerpark. One thing I love about Amsterdam is the parks. Always tranquil, and luckily the weather was great all week. I always take a travelogue book with me and this trips book was 'The Roads to Sata: A 2000-mile Walk Through Japan'. I usually walk approx 10-15 miles a day when in Amsterdam. After the last trip (blisters on nearly every toe, and pressure point pain), I obtained some Berghaus trek books and some very expensive Bridgedale endurance trekker socks and coolmax liners. Suffice to say, I never suffered one blister, but my calfs were fucked by the end of the week.
Once I was nicely stoned from the park visit, I walked to Amsterdam Zuid, so I could take some 3d photos of the skyscrapers, and visit my favourite park of Amsterdam, Beatrixpark. This is probably the quietest park in Amsterdam, definitely the best place to go if you want a rest from the hustle and bustle. There are two green parrots who live here, and the way they interact and play with each other is fun to watch as they fly branch to branch on the trees. Happy with my visit, I get the tram back to CS, pick up some vanilla kush from Barneys , and back to the campsite for food and more smoke.
Walk to Oosterpark and enjoy smoking and watch some documentaries on my PSP. Great atmosphere at this park. Loads of bbq's & parties here. Not exactly quiet, but fantastic atmosphere. Walk back to campsite and have the most horrible sleep due to my crappy sleeping mat (note to self, buy an inflatable one you cheap fuck!), and a pair of gimps who are laughing like morons at 5am in the tent behind me. Told them to STFU, which did the job.
Will post more later, sorry if you found it boring.
