Hey guys coming in two weeks and was thinking about getting some euros here before coming over. Is it time consuming and or tedious to get money converted in the dam? What would be your suggestion

Welcome to the forum.

What dates will you be in Amsterdam?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.

I usually have enough euros left over from my last trip to get into town and get my first buy
out of the way.

After that I use my ATM card in any of the many ATMs around the city. If you go this route let your bank know that's what you are going to do. I have seen cards stopped for possible
fraudulent activity.

As FlyByNite said, it's best to get money from the ATM.The exchange rate at the airport will not be as favorable as in the city if you do have only dollars. Check with Wells Fargo they sell foreign currency. https://www.foreignexchangeservices.com/
