Great pics from the space needle. By any chance did you catch how old it is? What year it was built?

It was built in 1962 as the center piece for the Worlds Fair in Seattle in 62.....the viewing deck is 520 foot up ( I think ) and it takes 41 seconds to go up or down....and for every 10mph the wind is gusting, the structure will move an inch...

The reason I ask because I was thinking it was newer then the Gateway arch which is in my home town but It was built in the 60s and its starting to have all kinds of problems. Yesterday a group of tourist got stuck up in it, some were in the trams that take you up. Scary for all of them up there.

what an outstanding report. pleasure to read and whatch as per usual.
really like this trip of yours, especially cause it is different from the AMS trips somehow.
so what's up with the dispensaries? did you manage to get in, or did cantona order and you waited outside? really curious about it. would love to make such a trip myself.
cheers

Man, the Mariners may have lost the game, but I had a blast...for a start, the Mariners homer was hit right over our head, and landed, like, maybe 5 rows behind us  .....Felix was pitching ( I bought an Autographed Felix ball  )and even though he was struggling a bit after the 6th, it was fun to see a dude throwing 95mph+, fast balls......but I aint singing yer national anthem for no man

Today, may be the latest I have woke since I got here, and its still before half 9...later, we hit the Mall, and Order more Medication....its sunday, we take tings easy on Pot Sundays :D
