Recommendations for a good daytime smoke!

Post by Ben420W »

Hi all. Ill be arriving in Amsterdam on monday morning and i cannot wait! Aside from visiting some of the museums and looking around the city i have planned to go to Walibi Holland on wednesday. Its a theme park with some nice rollercoasters and the one thing i have always wanted to do whilst stoned is ride rollercoasters! Im wondering if any of you people would recommend a nice strain which wont give me mega couchlock and will make the rollercoasters that bit better. Im planning on picking up two space cakes from Paradox on the tuesday to enjoy but im unsure whether to take one to Walibi Holland or save them and find a quiet spot to smoke a joint.

Any help would be great thanks!

Grab some of the Super Silver Haze from Paradox, that'll be perfect.

Awesome thanks very much, ill make sure to pick some up when i buy my cakes :D Could anyone let me know exactly how strict people will be about smoking not in coffeeshops. Obviously im not planning on walking down the streets with a doob hanging out my mouth but for when i do go to Walibi World would it be ok for me to find a quiet spot with noone else about and light up?

Walibi World will be full of kids and from my experience the Dutch don't take smoking around them lightly. I would suggest seeing if you can go outside the gates. Find a tree away from the entrance and blaze away. I always toke when I go to amusement parks that way. Just remember to ask if you need anything special to get back in. I'm sure you'll figure out what works best for you.

Peace,

Yep thats definately what i was planning on doing. The last thing i want to do is annoy the natives so i wouldnt think of sparking up anywhere near younger people. I hope i can get in and out of the park for a top up throughout the day but if not im sure a huge joint before i go in will have my flying for the majority of the time.

Similar question so i'll just post in this thread.

Going to Amsterdam next weekend and taking my gf that never smoked, I do have some experience but nothing too massive.

What strain would you suggest when just having a blaze but still beeing active enough when walking around town, should also be ok for a new smoker.

Had nice experiences with orange bud in the past, awsome happyness while not bringing you down too much :)

Also what is your guy's take on mixing strains in order to get a mixed effect? (so buy 2g of jh and 2g of orange bud)

well orange bud is always a good choice, jack herer would also be good for a new smoker ... jamaican and thai are also good strains to start learning about the world of marijuana, but these two will need to be cleaned of any stems and seeds and probably not in a grinder, the other two will be easier to prepare and suitable for a grinder

for walking around and doing stuff i like super silver haze or amnesia haze because both give clear functional highs, but these two strains are much stronger than the others mentioned

in general take it slow and easy to start with ... medium strength strains and only a few puffs to see how strong the weed is, then see how it goes ... if things go well, then maybe try something stronger (and more expensive), but again take it slow and easy

hope it goes well for you

so maybe grind down orange bud + silver haze and smoke the mix? Dows that work?

In the past i've actually had problems finding orange bud in amsterdam. thinking of going to basjoe, seems to be a great place + they have it apparently.
