Looking for some strains

Post by passenger0x »

Hi Everybody,

I'm a new member, and I'm going to visit Amsterdam soon. I'm gathering some information about the popular strains I'd like to try.
I don't really care for the recent strains, so please guide me to
the places where I can find the following legendary ones:

Durban Poison
Kali Mist
Purple Haze
Super silver Haze
Mexican sativa
Thai

As you can see, I don't care for dumb indicas, I need the funny trippy speedy buzz of sativas. Thanks!

I called it dumb, because it only makes me lazy, sleepy and fool and it makes no sense to me. I'm looking for energy and euphoria in the high. And where I live there's only the couch lock stoner stuff, and I'm so bored of it...

Thanks for the recommendations guys!
Btw, what's the problem with Durban Poison?

Hey I understand what your saying about the Indicas, for a long time that was all I could get and they do tend to dumb you up and make ya lazy, which I dont like.
The only negative is that alot of heavy indica smokers don't care for sativas as even the strongest varities seem much weaker than the smoke from home.
I believe this is what happens when some americans go to the dam and then come back talking about how weak the dam strains are, they're just not use to the mainly haze dominate strains in the damn, I myself experienced the same thing but now my favorite strain is amnesia haze. Have fun!

expert opinion
no m8 never even been to carmona, whats the thai like? have you tried the super jamaican from katsu? or the highgrade from anyday?
if yes how would you compare to them,
1thing i wish it wasnt all compressed, i remember back in the 90's we used to get jamaican (well thats what they said it was) &it was big fluffy buds, nearly always yellowish in colour, &always dry, use to love just crumbling a fat bud in palm of the hand straight into the rizla

I've had the brick Durban Poison from Any Day, and I enjoyed it. It gave me a nostalgic, golden sunset-ty kind of high. HGF's Durban was a spiky indica, at least for me. I found HGF's Nimbin to be similar to AD's Durban. Good stuff, the Nimbin.

As for a Mexican sativa ... De Supermarkt's Mexican Honey produced a clear, trippy high. I'd say it's the best sativa I've tried in Amsterdam. Ah, but Any Day's Durban Poison can be quite nice, as well; it's simply a good feeling :)
