Expectations

We all have our favourite coffeeshops, and probably we all have our favourite weed, and maybe even a shop with a decent coffee.

In my own experince I have been in shops where I have felt very welcome,a year or two later I have been back and felt less welcome,in some shops the weed has been awesome and yet the following day has been a bit of a let down,a smiling face from a bud tender has been replaced by a frown the following day,so it would seem imho that we should'nt expect too much from the shops we visit,as a punter I can be very happy, the following day I can have a face on me like a slapped arse.

To me I am grateful that Amsterdam provides a soft drug policy that ticks most of my boxes,if I get crap service in one shop then this just allows me to try out another coffeeshop.Variety is the spice of life,I do have my favourites but then again I have still to investigate quite a few more shops before I will come to the ultimate call of which are my favourites.

A question I have always posed to myself is this, what does make a good coffeeshop?,is it the weed,is it the service,is it the coffee,or is it value for money,to be honest I don't really, know,I am once again grateful that the coffeeshops exist.

No expectations here. I just visit them for what they have to offer versus what I'm looking for at that time - the gear, the view, the rest, the value, the melon Looza, whatever.
