Thanks jBomb, some invaluable advice there for my trip next week. I'm staying at Rookies and the guy I spoke with on the phone (called Rob funnily enough) said they are having a big party on the Saturday night to celebrate / commiserate the change over.
I'm guessing from your report that you didn't sample any of their products?

The Blue Cheese is currently available at the Bluebird, but the stock comes in and out. They seem to have it about 50% of the time. It's by far the nicest strain there, and worth it for 1.3 grams at 12,5 Euro. The smell alone will make your eyes light up.

PS - No, did not sample at Rookies. Just there to meet some friends and hit Sugar Factory, a nearby club.

Believe the hype on the Grandaddy Purple from the Grey Area!! It was a definate go to strain on my trip last week.

just found your thread today and can't stop reading through all of your weekly reports ... they are just GREAT man !! thanks .. great to read, and also funny you seem to have a very good sense of humor .. anyway ... reason why I HAD to quote now was your "crunchy" thing ...
I had to laugh so hard when reading this line this is amazing I can really imagine you being that crunched .. especially when you were quite a "regular amsterdam smoker" then there was some shit which indeed "crunched" you ...
