HAARLEM!!! Need to Know!!!

Post by Greenisthecolour »

ACD'ers! I need to get some more info on Haarlem.....specifically, is it worth a seasoned smoker visiting? I like the sound of the WW sativa and indica and hash coffeeshops....are they specialist places or is this just a marketing gimmick?
Also, any recommendations on the best smokes and from where as a lot of the coffeeshop comments for Haarlem are a bit dated?

Many thanks in Advance.

Oh and Im out there early August if any wants to hook up for a T&T??

   :P

Haarlem is a great little city, very safe and peaceful. As for the coffeeshops? I never, ever left any without being totally off my face, especially with isolator joints for E5, that would cost upwards of 10 in Amsterdam. Nightlife seemed to be really dead though

Next trip head north of the station a couple blocks to Birdy. Cream of the Haarlem crop.

Coffeeshop map of Haarlem.

http://thekaart.nl/en-netherlands-haarl ... 179_0.html

Eighteen shops, one is not listed on the map. More than enough for a days crawling.

The entire town is not very big, walk from one end to the other in very little time.
Or even better, rent a bike at the station.

Most of my last several trips I have stayed in Haarlem.

Latest trip report here:

http://www.coffeeshopmenus.org/0-WhosIn ... Report.htm

I moved from Amsterdam to Haarlem on the 21st.

Enjoy

I was in Haarlem end of last month, always worth a visit if you've got the time. I got some crossroads from the willy wortal that's near the windmill, can't remember the name. Anyway, damn fine weed, messed with my head :D
Also got some shoreline from Birdy, another top notch smoke and a great coffeshop, nice large, comfy smoking area, free wifi, reasonable drinks.
If you like to to stroll around Haarlemmerhouts a nice park with deer and llamas.
enjoy yr trip

well if you walked past the corrie ten boom museum heading to the market square, then you were on the street/alleyway adjacent to smedestrat 25 and theehuis, so very close
