I dont think that will be a problem!

Looks nice enough, but you might find it a bit farther out of the center than you want to be. If this is your first trip to the 'Dam, you'll probably end up in a lot of different parts of the city. There's a lot of cool places, and it's also very easy to get lost wandering around and end up far from where you thought you were headed. In fact, getting lost like that is one of the great joys of Amsterdam, and I highly recommend it! :) Getting back to the city center and walking is always easy to figure out how to do when you're ready for your wander to be over, while getting back to the outer parts of town requires more time and thought (and can sometimes feel like a slog).

Ideally, try to stay in the western canal district. Especially for a honeymoon. It's by far the most romantically beautiful part of the city. Just walking the canals at night back to where you're staying can be a magical experience. The specific area I'm talking about, is bordered by Harlemmerstraat in the north; Prisengracht in the west; Leidsestraat in the south; and Singel in the East. If you're willing to consider them, there are also a lot of charming small independent hotels and B&B's in this part of town, if you're willing to consider those.

But if you really like the idea of an apartment, you should definitely also consider a houseboat. This one, for example, is a bit more per night, but the location is perfect, and can give you a place to start looking:http://www.houseboathotel.nl/accommodat ... boat_b066/

Don't get me wrong, Amsterdam is an amazing city in all kinds of ways, and it's hard to go too far wrong location-wise. Public transport is good, it's walkable and bikeable, and a generally nice place to be. I've been there many times, stayed in a lot of different parts of the city, and they all have their charms. But if it was me, and I was on my honeymoon, the western canals is where I'd most like to stay.
