I agree with the other guys walking in the dam seems different, somehow much harder maybe it is the cobble stone/brick walkways.
I run 5-10 miles per day 5 days a week at home and walking in the dam wore thin after the first 3 days and I ended up renting a bike, best move of the trip. With a bike a 20 minute walk takes 5 mins so you get much more time in the shops and less traveling time. This time Im renting a scooter.
BTW how long you going for? Walking around all night doesn't seem like a good plan unless doing just a one nighter....

Imo, it's the random angles created by the spotty sagging of the sand beneath the hand-laid brick sidewalks. Yeah, the cobbles are a bitch too. Check the sidewalks at night, illuminated by automobile headlights, and you'll see what I mean. Kinda wavy once the sand settles.

When you're used to walking on concrete, asphalt, and other flatter surfaces, the Dam will cause you some problems below the knee. Takes my legs about three days before they acclimate.

Try walking on the dark gray flat curb stones. I do that at every opportunity.

This is uncommon in Europe, but your bank will likely
charge you a foreign transaction charge ( a few %,
for basically doing nothing).

No, for letting you take Euros from your (presumably) Korean Won account.
On top of exchange rate ripoff, they levy a charge 'because you are abroad'
UK banks do this - it's called money for nothing (unless you think electrons
inside a computer are that expensive).

it's usually a 2/3 euros or 2-3% whichever is the larger get out yr calculator and work it out.
and check yr banks website they answer this kinda thing in the faq.
