Just popped in to say thanks for the words of encouragement last week.

Went and had an amazing time. Dont know what i was worried about!

Still the same old place! Love it! Didnt get to anywhere near the amount of coffeshops i wanted to go to, or try all the strains i wanted to but you know what? Who cares? Thats the one thing i noticed that hadnt changed, even the best laid plans can be totally obliterated by the potent effect of the weed out there :D

Unfortunatley with the high comes the low and this week at work has been one of the worst, dont think theres anything like the come down from going to the Dam and stepping back to the reality of your normal life.

Anyway, so glad i decided to get out there. I'd almost forgotten how great it is. So if anyones in two minds about going out there alone I'd say do it. You'll have a great time!

The good thing about being solo is they are no disputes about where to go next! but the flip side is you cant go halfs with anyone on the bills ,But yea its takes me a good week or 2 at least to get back into the swing of things after i get home here! anyways glad we could help & if you like you can write a small trip report on the stuff you smoked & where,KD.

glad you had a good time!

it does cost a pretty penny for me too, but i do so enjoy my stays. I really like bicycling around where bikes are the dominant form of transportation.

I am going alone too. Got divorced and figured WTF. It makes me a little nervous. But it seems that it's easy to meet people.
I will be there July 22-31

Sorry to hear about the divorce mate, but i can assure you that you are going to the best place to get over it!

Yeah, just go for it! You've got an even better reason to go than i had! Get over there and enjoy yourself.

I was nervous too, but once you get there you'll be fine. Meeting people will be fine too, basically depends on you. Sometimes i was in the mood for chatting so would just start chatting with people in the CS or wherever and sometimes i was just in the mood for chilling on my own, being stoned and watching the world go by. :D

Have a good one!
