it seem to happen a lot over the years whit UK not only in camping grounds also big hotel hostels B&Bs ...Since im not British (TG) ive NEVER been asked and when asking why they do that... i was told ... to prevent Footy trouble makers since UK footy are known to be trouble ...ive rarely since belges french or ... be ask for Pass port .. only if they are more then 5-6 males and even then they know who are trouble makers just by looking at them and how they react to certain things or way they act when walking in ...
