Mushroom Kits

What's in the big box they want to sell you as a mushroom growing kit? Are the mushroom spores separate from the growing medium, and instructions? If so, they should make for a pretty small bottle or envelope, huh? Does anyone know?

The kits used to come pre impregnated with the spoors, but as laws have changed many of the online smart shops sell you the box and the spoor syringe apart. Its very easy to do and all the kits come with instructions, but obviously for legal reasons they use legal mushrooms as their example, but the methods are the same.

I bought one a long time ago and it was just a plastic tub with mycellium and spores. It was very easy to grow and takes about 1-2 weeks to have shrooms. The ones I had were mexican cubelis and they were pretty potent, all my friends liked them alot...
