Just a wee tip from an ex cfl gardener :lol: ................ You can have cfls one to two inches from foliage with no ill effects :wink: prob better wi two to be on the safe side :lol: I used to try keep them at least two inches from the top of my canopy

Have you binned off the cfls matey? Nice one... :mrgreen:

Keeping the CFL's close is best, but touching the lamp will cause those leaves to dry up. 8inches is too far away to benefit imo.

Ps, Soapy..... hope you don't mind but that pic is now sitting nicely as my wallpaper on my Desire. erm... cheers lol

just a quick post :mrgreen:
all going to plan so far 8) all 5 plants budding out nicely 8)
also all 5 laughing buddah seeds in pots and doing nicely aswell...gonna veg for a few weeks :mrgreen: and hopefully i`ll be toking the new year in to some nice buddah :) :)
gonna leave the pics for a few days and hopefully have some nice young buds to show-off :oops: in a few days...

The Laughing Buddha turns into a bush (when topped) hope you have space for them ? :lol: :lol: my mates doing one now , he's thinking bout taking the top off again :shock: :lol: it's bushy as , and now stretching (will try get a pic next time I'm up)

all going well so far 8) all 5 plants filling out beautifully(even leaf-chopper`s) :D
just moving them around every night and giving them their full feed schedule...
their reacting very well to the cfl i added...closer to the top thanks to some good advice given on here :wink: :wink:
