Extrema Festival & Amsterdam 14th-19th July

Flights all booked as a surprise for my mates 25th birthday. Flying from Liverpool thursday 14th July (2 days!!) at 6am, first night in Amsterdam, then off to Haarlem for the day friday, then onto Eindhoven for the weekend, Saturday EXTREMA Festival! Then back to Amsterdam Monday and fly home tuesday! EXCITED just don't cover it!!!
This will be my 4th trip to Amsterdam and i will compile a trip report when I get back. Got an action packed few days!
If you see a wasted guy in De Kroon with a ridiculous T-shirt on, please feel free to wipe the dribble from my chin!!

Hey mate, enjoy. If you want to catch a real Amsterdam house music gem, don't miss Tom Trago, he is playing.

I checked their website and they have a ZERO TOLERANCE for drugs. From experience at another festival, this includes cannabis so be very, very careful. SWIN made the mistake of telling security they had a few grams, and got the cops called and thrown out (this was at the search, where they checked shoes, etc).

You experience may vary, but you should be aware. have fun

Cheers Marco, i'll check out Tom Trago. Got the day pretty much all planned out- feel like a little kid again-so excited! I went last year and had no problems reference weed, i was searched on the way in and as they didn't check my shoe i was sweet! I think you've just gotta smoke on the quiet, and not up in the security guards faces. The place stunk of weed last year. Fingers crossed they won't be cracking down too hard this year- although i doubt they can search everyones shoes, or underpants!!!!
