Amsterdam Coffeeshop Directory Forums

Hi folks,

Me and a mate will be in Amsterdam 20th August getting in to town before 9am. Does anyone know of some really good coffeeshops open that early? It's gonna be an almost fly by visit as we're out of there 9pm 21st. So we will no doubt stay up in the action for as long as we can. Most coffeeshops I've frequented closed fairly early, like 11pm. Are there many good places to smoke that are open late that are well worth a visit? Should be a crazy 30 hours or so and would love to get some good advice from you guys. I usually stay for 3 nights at least, but this time only the one. Usually get up late and go to katsu for a long sesh and work our way into town to grab food, then almost pass out back at the hotel, but this visit will need to be a nice early start and ending in a very late finish to day one. Should be fun! Any ideas for good early openers and some good late night spots?

Most of the shops in the Centrum stay open to 1 am, the time they have to close by law. Only when you go to De Pijp and the like do the close before then. If you look in the directory you'll find the hours for some shops.

Bluebird opens at 9am and doesn't close till 1am. It's my sure thing when in need later in the evening.

Cheers guys, I'd seen the opening times just after posting, really should have a better look before posting next time! Looks like its voyagers early and late, perfect!!!
