By the way, I took menu pictures at many of the Amsterdam coffeeshops we visited and submitted them to coffeeshopmenus.org. You can find recent menus for 1e Hulp, Boerejorgens, Coffeeshop 96, Flower Power, Kashmir Lounge, Katsu, Mellow Yellow, and Voyagers from our trip here:
http://www.coffeeshopmenus.org/CoffeeshopMenus.htm

The menu photos on this page were enormously helpful to me in planning my visit, so I wanted to try to give something back!

Monday, July 11:
We took the train back to Amsterdam for one final day in paradise. We picked up some Super Silver OG13 and Am-Azing Haze from Boerejongens (which STILL had a steady stream of customers). After losing our GPS at Museumplein, then getting lost ourselves, we finally made it back to Kashmir, where we made friends with the owner (who is a HOOT!) and closed the place. We stayed up all night.

Tuesday, July 12:
My bro rolled this 8-inch pinner with some of what we had left:

When it got to be 8:30am, we returned the bikes, checked out of our apartment, then got a taxi to the airport (with a quick stop at Kashmir for some cakes). Their cakes are like a chocolate muffin. We ate 1.5 cakes each. I thought we would trip hard on the plane, but we just slept right through it :D

Overall:
  • -After the first day, we didn't get that high. That part was a bit disappointing. Any ideas how to combat this phenomenon?
-All in all we tried about 26 different strains of weed, 3 kinds of hash, and 3 different space cakes. Not bad!!
-Top smokes were Super Silver OG13 and Lemon Haze (Boerejongens), and Paroc (Katsu). It is hard to tell though, because not much phased us after day 1 (except the Paroc).
-I thought I was being smart by loading up my Garmin (nuvi 200) navigation system with coffeeshop addresses. But the battery on it did not last more than 15 or 20 minutes, so it was almost useless. In fact, none of my electronic devices worked very well in the Dam. I think there is some kind of ion cloud there that disrupts technology :-)
-Amsterdam is a great city, and the people were so nice, I wish I could go back!
Thanks for reading my trip report!

well this probably isn't the answer that you were hoping for, but this old hippie would say smoke less, enjoy it more
