I'd still be careful. I've seen a couple of disasters based on heavy drinking followed by major cannabis consumption. It's all about moderation. My advice goes as follows: " Beer and then Dope; Give up Hope! Dope and then Beer; Have no Fear!" Since you are a NB, I would move slowly and test my limits!

Of course, but the way you put it was as if it's a major no-no. It does work, but obviously too much of any substance won't end well on some occasions.

It'd be criminal to be around all that amazing beer and not sample some because you're scared of a whitey.

i don't see how your little rhyme works, btw. Certainly don't notice any difference myself when it comes to which has been consumed first. Is there any science behind it, or is it just one of those little rules that have popped up? (Genuine question btw)

My first trip to the dam I went into the Prix D'Ami. I told the budtender that I was not that experienced and what to start with first. They were good to me and steered me right. Of course all things have changed in there now under the newer owners and the weed is good and they serve food, but I feel the personal touch is gone. 420 is another goodone. Goodluck on your adventure and yes your right, you have to start somewhere and why not amsterdam.

Serious question/Serious answer: I do not know the science behind the adage. My statement is based on forty-some years of personal experience and observation so it is anecdotal, still it seems to be something worth keeping in mind.

You are correct when you say that there is a lot of great beer in Amsterdam and it should be sampled. Once again I would advise a "total newbie" to proceed with caution.
