Summer Darkness Festival - Utrecht

Yo - was having a look to see what's on in Holland when we're over at the end of the month, and noticed this festival in Utrecht. It's not exactly our scene, but looking at who's playing it'll be worth bouncing about in a room full of geezers with gas masks & bike boots on!


Just wondering if anyone has been or is going, what the general vibe about is, and how outsiders are treated. Not particularly worried about that, mind you - the people designated 'weird' by society tend to be the coolest mofo's you could happen to meet.

Looking forward to it either way.

I've been in Utrecht when the event was on, but not attended the event. Goth's from all over the world were everywhere! Atmosphere was as laid back and Jovial as Utrecht always is though.

with the exception of Tivoli de hellig which you need a bus to get to, the rest of the locations are all very central so you could always just go somewhere else if it isn't for you after all, although expect Goths in all the other bars that aren't participating directly too!
