i was wondering about taking a muffin or cookie on the plane from the Dam back to the states and eating it about a hour before landing. My big question is can I even get it on the plane in the first place.also i would want to time it so that I don't peak while going thru customs. I have never enjoyed any type of spacecake before.
Thanks for any insight on this subject.

Always take a couple strong homemade cookies/cakes for the flight over.

Never had any problem bringing cakes, cookies, Bon-bons, etc for the ride home.

Enjoy your trip!

I always have a space cake just after check in. That way when i take my seat on the plane im feelin wonderfully sedate.

Ive never taken it through security and onto the plane though.

I fucked up last trip home , chatting away to ADCers forgot to check my bag as hold luggage , carried it through with me & once it was on it's way into the scanner thing , the thought occured that "fuck i've got 5 diff cakes & a few full baggies in there " to say I was bricking it would be a bit of an understatement , it got through no worries though  may have helped that I also had packs of sweets & cakes for the kids packed in with them .
If you don't want to risk carrying anything on , CSS has the best info , check-in , munch the crap out of the cake in your pocket , smile as you walk through security  have fun

I had a Grey Area space cake in my bag for the journey home. Did panic a bit when the security people wanted to check one of my bags, but it was the duty free bag that had attracted their attention.

I ate some on board and took the rest with me, though there was less than a third of a cake left.

Pretty sure you'll be fine but you might want to put it in a bag with some other (regular) cakes.

This is an interesting subject. I wonder what would happen if you were caught with a space cake in the security control. Would it be considered to be an attempt to smuggle?

In Holland I believe it is ok to have five grams of cannabis for your own use, so what would the security officers at Schiphol do if they found cannabis on you? I am guessing it should be legal, since you still are in Holland, or is this wrong? What could the worst scenario be if they found something? If they only confiscate it, and there are no other consequences there shouldn't be to much to worry about. It would be interesting to hear from someone who knows something about this, what could happen if a space cake is discovered at the security control.

I believe that once yer past passport control you are not afforded the luxury of the visiting countries laws !? I was once found with a couple of Gs at Schipol tbh they kinda freaked out about it , but all they done was took my name and address (which they copied wrong from my passport)  in the end , however they certainly didn't give a damn that I was nearly missing my flight  but caught it jus in time

Tbh unless the wrapping has HASH cake emblazoned over it I can't really see any one giving a damn , as it would require testing etc to prove it was space.........so in that instance it would prob be taken off you . I have brought cakes back lots of times no problem jus take heed of some advice on this thread (unwrap from CS packaging),(maybe mix with non space) either way I don't think customs are that bothered about .2-1.2 of canna butter in a cake that yer gonna eat yerself ? It's all down to personally how much a risk you think it is ? Good luck

I've never risked bringing them on board, I just eat them before going through security. Just be prepared to face the consequences if you do get caught. And customs will be the least of your worries, its immigration that usually gives you a bigger hassle.

Peace
