Too many strains?

Post by The_Kushler »

Can we ever have too many strains?

Does anyone think we have too many strains now?

I'm undecided, I like and get excited by the new strains, some are exceptional, some not so memorable.

Won't everything end up tasting the same? :?

Whats wrong with what we already have?

For me it´s nice to test smoke new strains. But I understand there is a lot! As a grower I don´t care to much for new strains, I like the strains I have and grow them over and over. I read somewhere that it takes years to master a strain!?

There's too many bullshit companies releasing unstable, poor quality hacks of known quality strains so therefore loads of people will buy weak representations of the good strains that are about. Example...White widow...you can only get the real deal from one company, but does Joe public know that? Nope...so there's loads of weak widow about and people think the strain is just shit.

There are too many strains in the sense that not enough of them are any good.
How many strains do i rip on the daily...

Greenhouse dont hold the original parents Shantibaba does and he only releases his strains through Mr Nice seeds now, renamed Black Widow to avoid confusion. ;)

most of the "new" strains are just re-named old strains or strains cobbled together from existing strains by pollen chuckers.
I got an really old strain c99 from bros grimm that will blow away most others but it is fun trying all the new BS strains lol
