If this helps to improve the image that coffeeshops have, by showing them that they are as safe as bars, then it can't be a bad thing.

if they were as safe as bars I wouldnt visit them......but I know where you`re coming from ;)

Is the crux of it not that the authorities should be treating coffeeshops The same as bars etc ? Concerning checks etc ? As I believe the coffeeshops are given a lot of hassle , and treated completely different in relation to checks , closures
