Hey guys and gals,

Just wanted to introduce myself: I'm Abra from Russia.

I have been surfing though the pages of ACD for a few years and now I've finally decided to write something... Pretty much everything I know about Amsterdam Coffeshop culture I learned here, at ACD for which I am very thankful to all of the contributors to this wonderful online community, and they are many!.. My many trips to Amsterdam over the recent years would have not been the same without you guys! The map, the forum, as well as all the info I keep reading are the most wonderful source of knowledge about one of the central subjects (or perhaps, objects?) in my life.

I think it is about time for me to maybe try taking more active part and maybe get to see some of you.

I will be visiting Amsterdam next week for a week (August 3rd through August 10th) and will be more than happy to meet whoever in town for a good piff.

A week?.... Lucky bugger!!!!.... I can only afford 4 days!

There are tnts scheduled for Fri 5th 1600hrs, and Sat 6th 0900hrs both at Voyagers. Attend if possible.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.

Oh, I wish we had a very hot summer. I'm in Berlin for a few days and it was miserable, though today there is lots of sunshine and the weather is just generally better. Hope it has improved by the time I get back.
