I don't know if this has already been started, but it just came to me that it would be a good idea to list any coffeeshops ACD members know to be unfriendly/unwelcoming to tourists or foreigners for the benefit of newer members who may not have been to Amsterdam.

when I was there in april by myself for 5 days and 2 days with a friend. I didn't see any place that was unfriendly to anyone. they are all glad to have your business. It all falls back to if you treat folks nice they will be nice to you. Treat people the way you want to be treated. But I will tell you this don't worry so much about trucks, cars, trains and trams worry about the bikes and scooters.
I've seen many people hit, so keep yours eyes open and have a great time.
hope this helps

I've been before, but there's been lots of new members recently so I thought this would benefit them lol

I have to agree with Marco and USBL, most shops can have good and bad days, as I've had some not-so-hot experiences at some places people swear by, and even at my own favorite shops on occasion...

Kermit- they are really surly there, but strangely, I wouldn't rule out going there again... (the purple kush I smoked from there was a really nice example, decently cured and the white widow my friend got was proper too.)

@Geekmonkey, Bushdoctors was the first CS i set foot in, spent nearly the whole of my first holiday in the place and agree the weed is pretty good. But i swear they are crack heads in there and turn like quick as fuck and i like dogs when they are on my side

I have been to both Bushdocter and Rastababy... and to be honest, haven't had a bad visit in either shop.
Now.. I did pick up on a different "feeling" -- for lack of a better word -- in both BD and RB, but at the end of the day the tenders/owners were more than welcoming.
