Thank you much. Been a stressful past few months so this is a well-needed trip!

Just about time!

If you read this samuraiwriter we plan on doing Basjoe at 4:20 on Friday the 16th - if you're not at Katsu feel free to join us. Otherwise if you have Internet access let's plan another meetup over the weekend. At some point I plan on doing a De Pijp crawl - bunch of shops over there.

We'll try for Basjoe @420, may end up being our first smoke too.

Hey neighbour, best of luck with your lingwistiks ekzam.

FYI, I could get a stray unsecured wifi signal at Katsu last month.

hehe, good one. exam is over, thank god. half of it was take-home so i think i did pretty well on that and the in-class part was difficult but not impossible. as long as i get a B in the class that's all i care about. just have to get through work tonight and then my flight leaves at 1:10pm tomorrow!

yeah, waiting is the hardest part - i've been waiting since i made my plans in august! on the other hand, the euro has dropped considerably since then and is now down to 1.30 so i'm happy about that! this time tomorrow i'll be somewhere over the atlantic

thanks - yeah, doing the nonstop thing. about 10.5 hours in the air. hoping i can sleep most of the way - i work tonight so i should be tired plus i plan on telling the flight attendent not to wake me for meals. hopefully that might mitigate the jet lag.

yea the flight from seattle went by pretty fast. i usually dont sleep the night prior to a long flight either. i usually end up waking up though for some reason.

...and 11 hours on the return... we saw four movies. Beautiful views of Greenland you can't get anywhere else though. It's a brutal commute, but I'd hate to see this direct way of getting there go away. And then there are those folks who can just drive or take a quick flight there... lucky sods!

Enjoy the trip neighbor, and keep us updated
and give the sun one last farewell, it may not be here when you return

look on the bright side folks. could be worse. my trek to thailand was brutal. 10 hrs to tokyo. literally 45 mins on the ground and another 6 to bangkok. next year emirates is starting a non stop sea-dubai..14 hrs. ugh.

anyways have a great trip dazed.

Dazed-
Here's a dreamy industrial "music video" shot in the South Waterfront (by one of the residents) to get you reacquainted with your hometown; to Trent Reznor's "Hand Covers Bruise"..

Hope it was a great trip
