We'll try for Basjoe @420, may end up being our first smoke too.DazedandConfusedinOR wrote:Just about time!![]()
If you read this samuraiwriter we plan on doing Basjoe at 4:20 on Friday the 16th - if you're not at Katsu feel free to join us. Otherwise if you have Internet access let's plan another meetup over the weekend. At some point I plan on doing a De Pijp crawl - bunch of shops over there.
Hey neighbour, best of luck with your lingwistiks ekzam.DazedandConfusedinOR wrote:Just about time!![]()

hehe, good one. exam is over, thank god. half of it was take-home so i think i did pretty well on that and the in-class part was difficult but not impossible. as long as i get a B in the class that's all i care about. just have to get through work tonight and then my flight leaves at 1:10pm tomorrow!EasilySuede wrote:Hey neighbour, best of luck with your lingwistiks ekzam.DazedandConfusedinOR wrote:Just about time!![]()

FYI, I could get a stray unsecured wifi signal at Katsu last month.
thanks - yeah, doing the nonstop thing. about 10.5 hours in the air. hoping i can sleep most of the way - i work tonight so i should be tired plus i plan on telling the flight attendent not to wake me for meals. hopefully that might mitigate the jet lag.cantona7 wrote:enjoy your trip. you going non stop? i did the delta/naw non stop flight dec 2007. you may be able to see the northern lightd out your window as you fly over the tundras of northern canada. nice quiet plane too in the airbus 330.
yea the flight from seattle went by pretty fast. i usually dont sleep the night prior to a long flight either. i usually end up waking up though for some reason.DazedandConfusedinOR wrote:thanks - yeah, doing the nonstop thing. about 10.5 hours in the air. hoping i can sleep most of the way - i work tonight so i should be tired plus i plan on telling the flight attendent not to wake me for meals. hopefully that might mitigate the jet lag.cantona7 wrote:enjoy your trip. you going non stop? i did the delta/naw non stop flight dec 2007. you may be able to see the northern lightd out your window as you fly over the tundras of northern canada. nice quiet plane too in the airbus 330.
...and 11 hours on the return... we saw four movies. Beautiful views of Greenland you can't get anywhere else though. It's a brutal commute, but I'd hate to see this direct way of getting there go away. And then there are those folks who can just drive or take a quick flight there... lucky sods!DazedandConfusedinOR wrote:about 10.5 hours in the air
