That is so weird...that happened to me at Katsu as well!!!
I was pretty much set to leave after enjoying the Orange bud for a good hour or so and then 6-7 "healthy" looking guys in uniform came in and politely asked me if I had settled my bill (first in Dutch, then in English...)
and requested I leave. I was very at ease and did not feel threatened at all. I told DC at Nes about this and he said these are routine spot inspections that make sure everything is in order - in particular the 500 Gram rule. But if Katsu keeps getting "raided" it must mean that they are either always getting in to trouble or maybe there is pressure by the community to get rid of the CS that is in the middle of the Cafe/Bar/Restaurant pedestrian area....

Spent a while in de Pijp today ...visited Carmona first ,nice shop before hitting the market ...rainy ,breezy, market itself sporadic ...Katsu had the big table open so we enjoyed a buzz there ...one of the traveling compaqnions got some Expensive NorthernLite Haze or something... lunch in the Vishandel there ,still had Haring ....at de Graal got a 5 E bag of Nebula or somesuch cosmos type of strain ...seemed pretty good as well ...enjoying the town ,seems to be plenty everywhere we've gone ...but maybe a little pricier ...cup week perhaps ,or traveling companions with pricy tastes ...who knows ....

Very cool Epsilon....you were one of the forum members that got me interested in this area... I will be there again in two weeks -and DePijp will be on my list - this time will try to get to Media - is it open? I keep hearing about old/new/temp location...what's the story?

Medias windows covered with blue tarps ....street work right outside CS Holidays door....which is nearly right across the street from Media ...Blue Sea was not open ....Yo-yo looked good to go ,but didn't open till noon...
