Is there any way you can link it to BrutmapsMod instead of Googlemaps so we can download and add the map layers before setting off,.... then we can still use the GPS but not have to worry about data charges.

I done this map before I went, (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?msa=0& ... 14&vpsrc=0) but the saved locations do not always save to the phone like the actual map using Brut, so a tiny bit of data of wifi would be needed to get those locations every now and again.

Lol, asked him before about that, looks like it can't be done because Google doesn't allow developers to do it without hacks.

Save the appropriate map from the following link into Google Maps. https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/viewt ... 13&t=14940 You can then recall it from the app.

Actually I borrowed a mac so now I can code it.

But it will take a while I'm afraid.

on my samsung phone i can go onto google maps and bookmark all the shops i want to visit when im out there. as long amsterdam is the last place you look at before you get there you should be able to view the map offline. worked perfectly for me

or take screenshots of the coffeshop directory map on your phone?

the smokeout app is great, but only if you have a dutch phone with dutch 3g rates
