Durban was actually the third strain she mentioned. I was thinking the third stable one would be afghani.Mr_Gav wrote:Haze, Skunk and Northern Lights. But, both skunk and northern lights are hybrids. Those three strains are the basis of almost every Dutch strain is what he probably meant. None of them are what you are looking for though. They are stable strains but, they have a lot of genetic diversity within the pool.

If he was after SSH he'd have to get them from Mr Nice (Shantibaba), he holds the original breeding stock and he sells regular seeds, the main reason for feminised is money that and no breeding talent involved just chemicals.redeyezman wrote:What you want doesn't exist. Every strain is a hybrid of something. Cannabis is ten of thousands of years old! No plant can possibly be pure unadulterated genetics. If you want easy and stable grow SSH is one of the most stable choices you can choose. Correct me if I'm wrong but breeders don't sell the male version of SSH (or the designer strains) because if you can keep the male plant alive then you won't buy their seeds. If you don't want to always be buying seeds why not learn to clone a great plant you get from feminized seeds. Or are you smoking to much and consider feminized seeds genetically altered and not pure enough from earth?
I hate that you popped my naivity about that. Been wondering about it for two days and guy at last seed store almost said as much. He said breedable seeds (not feminized) are looked down on with contempt by a large part of the market. They want all females and they want them now. I guess for continuous croppers it makes sense.Boner wrote:redeyezman wrote:no breeding talent involved just chemicals.
Durban? Very strange, I can't think think of many strains with Durban genetics in.BeachBUD wrote:Durban was actually the third strain she mentioned. I was thinking the third stable one would be afghani.
Maybe it's anti-social, only breeds with itself?Mr_Gav wrote:Durban? Very strange, I can't think think of many strains with Durban genetics in.BeachBUD wrote:Durban was actually the third strain she mentioned. I was thinking the third stable one would be afghani.
So then it isn't one of the three strains that form the basis for everything else?BeachBUD wrote:Maybe it's anti-social, only breeds with itself?
some guy in kabouter said something similar, that every dutch seed is some sort of cross/development from I think skunk, widow, haze and hindu kush...Mr_Gav wrote:So then it isn't one of the three strains that form the basis for everything else?BeachBUD wrote:Maybe it's anti-social, only breeds with itself?
