Oh, also, I think I remember Gapie raving about the Chocolope at Funky Monkey. Didn't see or try it though. Paradox's was ok, and so was Solo's, but neither so great they were worth going out of the way for (sept 3-5).

For my money, Candy Kush tastes chocolate-ier, and has the deeper more stoney effects that I like, Chocolope is always a little, meh, for me. (Not that I'll pass the joint.)

Just got back and can confirm Voyager's choco is not up to much at all. (Their kandy Kush and Dr Grinspoon, however, are both very nice!

I´ve NEVER had chocolope from a coffeeshop that really tasted like Chocolate Thai.

I think iv only smoked Chocolope once , from Greenhouse effect and it certainly had a dark velvety chocolate taste (so my notes say anyway)

I have sampled a few vastly varying batches of Chocolope- Tweede Kamers in Jan 09 smelt slightly chocolaty and leaned more to the indica side, but not much. Since then they have been more sativa: Aug 09 GA cheesey/sagey. In 2010 MY's was coconutty, GP had pineapple smell and candied flavour, Bij was similar tropical fruit as GP. What ever it is it tastes good!
