it's so lovely to read geeky's descriptions of her smokes ... who else could describe the full flavour of a puff using such unexpected phrases as puppy breath in her blurb ... great stuff ... much funkiness in the writing imo ... almost makes up for not being there myself and instead having to enjoy her smokes by way of the reports ... love the photos too, so thanks for the reporting

Awww, thanks SS'67. So sweet of you. I love talking about smokes with the people here. The only thing that's better is talking about smokes with these people there. :D

Had to leave you all with a view from my walk home from Basjoe's this trip.

Yeah I agree with StonedSince'67.

The way geekymonkey describes the taste and smell is fantastic. She has most definitely opened up my eyes and made me want to try many different strains.

Thanks so much, Cat, SW, Fred, and Dan.

This really was a great trip. I'm home now, working my tush off, but still glowing. I am so glad I'll be back there in just three short weeks. My appetite has been whet, and my mouth is watering!

Thanks to all you hash advocates here as well. Last trip I started getting into the isos, and the were cool, but this time I expanded my hash smoking. So fun!

More reporting coming up soon!

If you have an iphone, there's this cool app called instagram. It has filters you can add, that really make some cool images. Cisco and Panog are on there too. I highly recommend it.

Paradox Maroc Pollem Hash
Image

Shamefully, this was my first time in Paradox, but it's definitely a shop I will be returning to. Nice menu, big fresh juices, great looking shakes. The weed menu seemed a little light at the moment, but I had heard nice things about their hashes, and the two regulars at the bar were toking hash joints.

Going with the flow then I asked the budtender for stoney hash recommendations. He recommended the Maroc Wash (.8g/12e) and Maroc Pollem (1.2g/12e). I picked up the wash for later and the pollem for sharing.

The pollem was nicely pliable and a quick whiff of the lighter to the end showed it to be clean and caused it to fluff and become fudgy. While someone passed a nice chocolope joint from there, Gapie rolled the pollem into a fat double-filtered cannon with a big chunk of Basjoe's G13.

What an awesome, tasty smoke. It hit like a freight train, and the smoke was almost overwhelmingly fragrant.

Grapefruit and lime blossom from the weed, aromatic szechuan peppercorn, coriander, and sandalwood from the hash. People started dropping out of the pass like flies until it was just Gapie, Hasj, and I hitting that sweet baby.

Nice stone, relaxing and energetic at the same time.

The joint was so good, I rolled it's duplicate to share with my Mr when I told him the stories from the TnT. Never made it to the end of that joint, pity...so much to smoke, so little time.

I realized that my last story may make it seem like I'm implying my fellow ACDer's were lightweights, and so I thought I would add this context.

The G13/Pollem joint was the 5th joint rolled at Paradox, which was our third smoking stop that day. I remember for sure that there was a lovely joint of G13 someone rolled, a joint of Amnesia Haze from Siberie, and two joints of Paradox's Chocolope rolling around.

Ya'll can smoke! I learned so much, and got to try so many cool things this weekend. Thanks again. :D :D

Gekke Gapie can certainly roll a good joint. What was it that was put in the four roached square joint? I went to Paradox the next day for breakfast. I had a ham and cheese toastie(absolutely devine) and five Euro of Purple which was fantastically tasty and nice and mellow :) Purple was certainly my bargain of the trip, so tasty!

Thanks for the heads-up on the purple. Paradox is right around the corner for me next trip, and I know we'll be back a lot. That Purple was an outdoor, wasn't it?

Heads up, Quicky, if you're still doing outdoor, Paradox had 3 on the menu.

The four-square cannon (Beautiful) was a combo of Voyager's OG18 and Basjoe's Bas Special that he had until Sunday am, which was a really stinky tasty indica reminiscent of L.A. confidential and something meatier (a kush?).

That was a great joint. Did you ever make it out with ohm and tutti? It was great to meet you!

More reporting on tap for today. Up next is Basjoe's Cheese and Bluebird's Super Silver Haze.
