Aawww, that sucks!

If you don't mind sharing, how'd they spot you? I have to admit that I'm curious. I knew someone who got caught on a train in Germany. Their fine was more on the order of 600E, so I'm glad the fine was light.

Good woman. Glad it worked out for you. If I were in the UK I would have a hard time not posting back. Here, with the Swiss customs, that would be a one way ticket to the local police station.

I think they are wising up to the uk flights and the smuggling some do now on there person. Because back in april the area where all the uk flights go from, or certainly ALL the Easyjet ones go from has the body scanner and it seems everyone has to go through that now as there was no other gate or passage to go through. Can anyone who went in april or since able to confirm this for the uk flights as I recall the only way through the security was via the body scanner when I came back home?.

Then again there was a lot of members going back and 2 in those couple of weeks. And I'd be suprised if anyone thinks I'm a little to suspicious if the reason I noteced the scanner as being seemingly "forceably" used was because customs (who certainly DO visit and read this board) wanted to catch members from here etc having talked about things on the board and thought they might catch some easy targets for training purposes etc?. Then again it can pay to be a little suspicious at times.

Honestly that level of coordination and insight would really surprise me. More likely to be random.

I honestly think you are paranoid mate, customs dont need to come on here to catch stoners coming off the plane from Amsterdam, I honestly think that customs dont really care about the odd guy smuggling home a little bit of weed if so the Belfast flight would be harassed the minute they get off the flight, they have bigger fish to fry what with nutters with bombs.
