Trip Report August 26 - 30

Hallo Stoners all over the World.
There I had it again. That mental rush when I step out of Central Station; because I know I'm there again. Amsterdam. Four days of heavy smoking. I made myself a promise not to answer the handy and off I go.
But first things first: Hotel. I stayed at the Mint-Hotel Amsterdam. A really new and big Monster next to Central Station. This baby has 4 Stars, 553 rooms, four highspeed elevators and an one I-Mac in every room. This hotel is so new that all you see on google-earth is a construction site. I normally stay at cheaper hotels, but this was a good deal from ebookers so I went for it. Did not regret it.
So, bag to the customer service desk and lets go.

First stop:
Voyagers
OG18 - Very sticky. Hard to roll. Clogged up my grinder for the remainder of the trip. Had an
upliftung, strong and happy high
The budtender played with a laserpointer and a cat. That cat's was really fast, but the speed of light is hard to beat. I wonder how long it takes for the cat to show him the finger wenn he pulls out the laserpointer.
Also bought:
Candy Kush - Nice smoke. Not so strong like the OG18
Then on to:
HSB on Warmeostraat
Lemon Haze - light lemon smell. Very trippy weed. High was OK.
Smoking room downstairs. Chilled for a bit.

Central
Went there before breakfast. Don't remember what I got. Rolled a few in the room, breakfast and then off I go.
I like these early openers. At home I get up at 5:20. In Amsterdam getting up at 7:00 is late for me. Surprise. It's not raining.
Paradox
Amnesia - Was ok. Coughed a little. But nice high.
Also bought:
Chocolope – Better than the Amnesia. I could almost taste the chocolate. Floaty High. Was flying half a foot above the ground toward Dam Square wenn I left.
This is a nice little shop, really friendly people. A locals type of coffeeshop. Felt welcome there. Took some time to find the place and made it just as the rain startet.
Ate at an Italien Place by Leidseplain. €25 for a plate of spaghetti and two large cokes. Forgot how expensive these places were. Won't be doing too much of that. Rather spend my money on weed than arogant waiters.
Thank the FSM for FEBO. I know, I know, some of you don't really care too much for this place. (Diplomaticly put) But the double burger really hits the spot when the munchies come crawling.
Next on to:
Bluesbrothers
White Shark - Found it to be a little on the weak side, but notes say not too bad.
The musik in this place is just right for me. Swayed with the musik about an hour.

Raining again.
Betty Boop
Laughing Buddah - Uplifting high, but not too strong.
Budtender not in a good mood. When I asked him if he was open, he asked me if I were stupid. If I only had a dime for every asshole i've ever met......... . Heard some good things about this place, so we'll let it slide. The upstairs was cool though. Had the place to myself and my high. Stept out into the rain afterward.
Barneys
G13 Haze - €16,50 Very expensive. The bud was ok, but too weak for the price.
Had to go to Barneys. Always wantet to, but never made it before. Didn't stay there because they were full. Went over to the Farm. Empty. Funny bartender; was in a good mood. Track and Field was on the TV. Some sort of WM-Something. (Can you guess that my idea of sport is a good chessgame?) He had a friend running in the 100 meter. He wasn't amused wenn the guy was disqualified for a bad start. It was raining again.
Hunger. Where's the next FEBO? Isn't there an app for that somewhere? Hits the spot.
Old Church - Don't remember what i got. It just wasn't that memorable.
Because of all the comments here on the forum I had to see for myself. Service and Attitude were OK. Didn't have any trouble with the having-to-buy-their-weed rule. I always buy weed at a coffeeshop. That's why I go there. If I want to smoke what I have, I do it somewhere else. But then again, I never buy enough per coffeeshop to have a large stash with me.
So, nothing to complain about for me. They were friedly enough. More Rain.

Crystal - Good smoke, a little coughy, but a good mellow high.
Peacemaker – Also not bad. But notes say the Crystel was better.
Met a german guy there. Talked about 2 hours. Thats a lot for me. Must have been the crystal. Guess it made me talkative.
Hunger. KFC to the rescue. I'm on a junkfood binge this trip.
Guess what. It's raining.
Abraxas
Think I got Amnesia Haze. Notes don't say.
Even made it up the Stairs with my Hot chocolate with cream. They put the cream on an extra little plate which I balanced on top of the glass. Didn't look to cool, but I made it. Abraxas is always worth a trip.

Big Buddah Cheese Very coughy. At the time to weak for me. Due to me smoking around 6 to 8 Joints a day for the last three days, I'm having trouble telling what's really strong and what's not anymore. But since this is my last day, I push onwards.
Dolphins
White Dolphin Was ok. Couchlocked for about an hour. Budtender had a tick though, Every 20 Minutes or so he came down to the smoking area and told everybody not to to put their feet on the sofas. (Very comfortable Sofas downstairs, but didn't look new to me, so whats his beef?) WTF. I'm stoned so I don't give a s..t.
Basjoes
G13 Haze i think. They were out of Tangerine Dream. Was €15/Gramm. Expensive. OK smoke though.
Decent enough shop. Happy Bartender.
That's it folks. At around 15:00 I got my bag from the Hotel and left for the Airport. Last two Joints outside of departure area 2 and back to life.
Finally I have to say that we must have pretty good weed here in vienna at the moment. Don't get me wrong, i wasn't disappointed, not by a long shot. But I didn't really feel that the weed in Amsterdam is that much better than here. We don't have good weed all the time, but it's here sometimes.
Best weed of the trip: Lemon Haze from HSB Warmeostraat
Worst weed of the trip: Not really any. All the weed I bought was from ok to super. Not disappointed at all.
Hope this wasn't my last trip.
