Sounds good brother. If you get back by 11-11:30 let me know. I might be eating my switzerland ticket - I'm debating whether or not I'm going to go. Yeah, I know...lol. I'm actually bringing a travel umbrella this time that will fit in my backpack so not worried about if it rains - I just don't feel like getting soaking wet and then walking around in the cold and ending up sick. I think most of the places near centraal station are open late so name the place and I can meet you there. I'm going to pace myself the first day and not smoke too much so I can stay up late. Last time I was inside by 10 almost every night! Hunters is open till 1am I think and if you feel like going over to Haarlemmerstraat, Popeye is open till 1am too.FriendlyEdgar wrote:Paris is looking good right now... my train would be scheduled to get back @ 22:45 on the 15th, if you want to meet somewhere central ~23:00... I will pm you my 'dam number when I get there! It looks like we'll be lucky to get any days that don't rainDazedandConfusedinOR wrote:Hey Edgar - not sure if you'll be in Paris still on the 15th, but I plan on going being at Paradox at 5pm on the 15th and Barney's Lounge at 8pm. If you're around and feel like stopping by feel free. Other than that it's Bluebird at 9:30ish on the 16th, then the Maritime Museum and the Zoo (unless it's raining) and then Basjoe at 4:20!FriendlyEdgar wrote:1 week from this minute now I should be settled into my apartment and about to set out on my magical mystery tour!![]()

@ ravenfunk: I understand what you're saying about zoos but I don't share your opinion. I tend to view zoos as bastions of conservation and education. Most zoos get their animals from captive breeding programs nowadays and also help to preserve species that are in danger of extinction. Yes, I also eat meat and thought the South Park "Whale Whores" episode was hilarious. To each his or her own.
