If there are no delays or issues (and it looks like the weather will be getting better as the morning goes along, so I'm starting to be optimistic!!), I should arrive in 22 hours! Tampa > Philly (absolutely perfect weather!) @415p, Philly > 'dam @ 850p!! I'm now putting the final touches on packing... uuuuugh, 5 more hours til I can leave for the airport!

I'll pm you my local # as soon as I get there, and let you know if it receives texts (he said it is an old phone), but just in case, the plan is Thur Dec 15, ~11p @ Voyagers, and Fri Dec 16, ~930a @ Bluebird, 420p @ Basjoes!

Sounds good. I wrote all the times down because I have a tendency to space when I'm in the Dam...lol. I'm bringing an unlocked GSM phone too - where are you planning to go to get a SIM card? I saw a place near Dam Square called The Phone House - it's at Nieuwendijk 239. Hopefully I can just get some prepaid time to use when I'm there.

The eagle has landed!!

Flight was delayed a little over an hour, but by mechanical issues, not weather. Thanks to a good tailwind, we made up most of the time in the air, and arrived only about 20 minutes late. Then there had been some issue this morning and all trains to/from schiphol were running about 10 minutes late. However, I am here, am a settled into the apartment, and I am about to go for my first exploration!! See you Thursday night. Depending on what the forecast for Paris looks like, I will either be wearing a black leather jacket, or a black Phish hoodie.

for now we plan on meeting at voyagers at 11pm on the 15th and then bluebird on the 16th at 9:30am or shortly after they open and then basjoe at 4:20 on the 16th
