I have seen these on sale quite a bit in the UK. Haven't tried them
out yet, but it did cross my mind that they might be usable as a
vaporiser. They are quite cheap, compared to the real thing.

Anybody tried this - I wonder if they get hot enough?

i got a Esmoke the one i got you cant put anything but the necotine puke ...its like vaping tobacco but aint real tobaco more like a powder ...
They sell portable vapes .. just google portable vapes Iolite is one and the magic launch box both very good vapes

The only thing close is the Vape Pen...(see my posts)....but the hash oil inserts, don't fit into the galluci ecigs...but if you hold them together, it actually works....but you can only buy the hash oil refills in CA or CO.....

Well it looks like the e-cig cartridge can be cleaned and refilled, so it's just a matter of figuring
out if hash oil will mix with either glycerine (maybe) or propylene glycol (probably).

Once done, the potential is endless.

So is it more of an atomiser (like an e-cig) or a vaporiser (like an iolite)?

It is exactly like an ecig.....works like a charm....I have the new portable iolite, which is pretty good too....but the pen is the most stealth....

i was told this week i had to stop smoking....

i have now had my e-cig come and used it today and yesterday, its not the same but it gives me the hit i need so i will carry on with it

i would love some sort of thc cartridge, and hoping you guys may have the answer i need?

Well I tried a couple of the disposable ones and they're not up to much.

Did more research, and joined an e-cig forum (there's plenty about), and
have on order a proper one, with rechargeable batteries, replaceable
atomisers etc. I haven't been told to stop smoking, just fed up with the
shortness of breath, staining of everything and the dust it creates.

Unfortunately, those forums don't discuss 'alternative' ingredients, but I
have plans for some experimentation, so watch this space.
I suspect it would need BHO or Kwiso as a starting material, and I have
qualms about mixing it with propylene glycol, but we shall see.

For anyone who's interested, they have a great selection and a decent forum with tonnes of good advice... Worth doing the research before buying any E-cig as they vary in quality and usefulness.

I advise anyone wanting a "Full Throat Hit" to go for the Tornado/Tornado Tank model, i have one, and it almost stopped me smoking!

One more question - I took a look at their website, and it says the
cartridges have a 50mg dose.
Does the cartridge have a similar volume to an e-cig cartridge or
is it smaller/larger?

I went for a Riva - cartridges are a bit crap, but improve a lot if you replace the filler with fish tank filter material. Might have to go for a tank later.

I believe the Riva is exactly the same as the Tornado; just a different importer. The Tank is great for a strong, consistent smoke, but they do have a habit of leaking(nothing serious, but noticeable).

As far as "Experiments" are concerned, i have yet to join the legion of freaks who need to alter their e-cig into a biological weapon... You really shouldn't need to if you're anything like me; the Tornado is strong enough as it is.

If you don't mind me asking, how mich did you pay?
