Update on coffeeshop closures

Post by Surfer Joe »

I am planning a trip to Amsterdam in November.
I was last there in May, and I was convinced that it might be my last visit.
Then I read in another thread recently that the ban had been postponed until 2015, but I haven't heard much more lately.
Are things still ok for foreign visitors buying pot in the coffeeshops?
Can any of the locals please advise on how the situation is currently?
Thanks for any advice.

That's nice, but that thread is from July.
Can anyone supply any more current info on what's going on please?

So as of today, things are the same as they've been all year?
That's great to know.
Thanks a lot, everyone.
Amsterdam, here I come. Again!

Yeah I already have next years trip mentally planned though the wife wants spain next and so do I, no need to worry bout the weedpass, just another harebrained scheme by the CDA and anti immigration lot. The tolerance policy will weather that storm like it has so many others.
