I just spotted this place by looking around on Google Maps. It looks like an old fortress, but it must be huge because there's a city inside. I find it odd that I haven't seen this place mentioned on the forums anywhere. Has anyone been here? It is a worthy day-trip? I see there's a museum (about the fortress), is there anything else interesting nearby? Any recommendations for getting there? I think a long bike ride would do it, but in October, you can't really count on the weather to cooperate.
I'd also like to hit Muiderslot castle on the way to Naarden or on the way back. I've heard some good things about the castle, but I'd be happy to hear some more opinions.
