What do the experts think of this vaporizer?

Post by CannaSir »

Check out THIS baby!

http://lifesabervaporizer.com/lsv.html

I've just today decided to sell some stuff that i dont use on ebay and use the cash for the best vaporizer I can find. I've tried the verdamper and that is clearly top of the list at the moment but I came across this and, wow, it really looks to have addressed a lot of the concerns about the verdamper (fragility, bulk, clumsy heating element). I wonder whether anyone already has this and could comment?

:D

Yeah looks ok but for that price you could get a proper vape rather than a portable , have a look at Volcanos and Arizers

Or if you do wanna go down the portable route check out The Iolite or the Magic Flight Launch Box probably the two leading handhelds on the Market atm

Hi Cisco - thanks for the tips - I'm only interested in a vape for home use at the moment - not portable (yet). Vapes that use the bag like the volcano, I find, have too high a ratio air:vapor - I prefer the verdamper cos it produces a satisfyingly dense hit.

Actually, on reflection youre right Cisco - the magic flight looks like a brilliant way to start off rather than go full steam for the big bad verdamper straight away. MFLB will be ordered soon as I locate best online price!

You can have a mouthpiece on the Arizer rather than the bags (both come as standard) and its tabletop , I would recommend that (I'm Probably biased though as it's the one I use)

Agree with Cisco, the Ariser can give you a big bad hit, especially if used correctly with the whip, it's also a third of the price of the Volcano, is well put together and comes with all the bits you need (guess I'm biased as well, but they are damn good IMHO).

You might want to look at the new Iolite Wispr.

I've had my original Iolite for two and a half years now and it's served me well. The new model deals with the minor faults of the original well and has been getting great reviews.

The material - to - air ration looks very small on this! It looked like he got a great hit, but can't always trust youtube posts. It does look well made! Does the small element area make for dense hits, or small hits? Looking forward to a review if/when you get it!

In my experience, the MFLB does not give the thick, dense vapor hits you can get from the Arizer and whip...it works, but it's not going to be highly effective for those with a high tolerance or those used to vaping...if it's your first vape you'll probably dig it...if you're used to large vapor rips from something like an Arizer and then you get a MFLB you probably won't be impressed. You also cannot vape extracts with a MFLB.

I think it's a great stealth tool (that's why I bought it) and a cheap efficient starter vape, but it definitely has its limitations.

Thanks one and all for the excellent voices of experience to help me with my purchase! :D

For me, the question now is: Can I find a vaporizer that's portable AND produces a fairly dense hit if i want one? There seem to be plenty of non-portable solutions but that means up to 3 or 4 hundred quid. MFLB looks like the cutest and most stealthy option, which definitely appeals but I also like the look and reports of the new iolite...

The only paraphernalia I own now is my titanium space case grinder and a foot long slim hardwood pipe for hash. I once owned a bong back at uni *#years ago but have almost exclusively been on the spliffs since then. None of my friends use vapes but exposure to this forum and visits to amsterdam over last few years have finally woken me up to what this technology can do for me! DOH! Better late than never!

I can see what's gonna happen here looking at other 'converts' ' vape collections: I'm gonna start with a 100ish quid on a portable vape, then I'll rip the arse out of it over a few weeks before deciding that I need a more powerful unit and buying a Verdamper or an Arizer Extreme or something!  Thing is, with the amount i usually spend on weed, wasting up to 80ish% of the active ingredients by smoking spliffs only, I only need to replace half my toking with vaping to save the cost of purchasing both a portable AND big bad vape in year 1 alone! :D (or so I hope!)

That's it - I've heard the opinions, read this:

and now this is gonna be my new toy within a week or two:

I will report back as soon as I've tried it and recovered sufficiently!
