Tempted to book a pre-cup trip...

Post by KeyMonCha »

Just had a paranoid thought:

Will there be some kind of drought on all the good weed if i go a week or so BEFORE the CC?

...I know it probably sounds stooopid, but my thought process decided to lead me to the idea that many of the shops might be aiming the flowering times of their premo weed directly at the cup!

Will this be a problem? ...Or, do i need my head sorting?

Should be my first solo trip too, so i'd hate to miss something...

Cheers guys!

pre-cup trip does sound a bit stupid, went to dam during cc last year (i think) was shocked how few people were about, obviously barneys/greenhouse was packed but the others i visited during trip all had plenty of free seats.. best thing i noticed was the bud was better than normal (dunno if it was cause of the cup but id like to believe it was).
wasn't too cold, low season means cheaper rooms Plus shit loads of ACDer's about and loads of t&t's..

Go during the cup mate

In a similar vein, my good lady suprised me by booking a trip for 25-28 Nov for my birthday (37, gulp!)

Will all the good weed have been hoovered during the cup ?

(Apologies for thread hijack)

Interesting... Thanks Gapie. The main reason i'm missing the cup is because i left it too late to book a cheapo hotel with a smoker friendly environment... I'm sure i'll be able to do the week after... The sooner the better, though!

That's just it, i really hate a full CS!!! I like it cold, dark and empty... I like to be cosy... Sitting in an empty Kadinsky with a hot coffee and a nice selection of hash whilst it's dark/rainy/icy outside is my idea of a perfect holiday.

Thanks for the info guy's; it's all appreciated!
