In Italy the 'Christian Democrat' party used to use a cross on their emblem to appeal to the simple, uneducated folk who see themselves as 'religious' - pure cynical manipulation. We've seen this technique used by the media before, think Weed Pass. If you say something is a "done deal" often enough, then the chances that it is a "done deal" increase as the opposition becomes convinced the the fight is over!

For the last 10 years myself and the wife plus many many mates have gone for a adult break. From 27 to 58 is the age range of the group and all know why we are going , no sodding kids for 5 days so we can enjoy just for once.
Coffee-shop - Barney's first stop each year , with in 15 mins we had spent over 170 in skunk, drinks and food that was just the start.
Work it out now

House sleeps 10 = 3500 euro ( 350 each a night we don't sleep in a shit hole why should we )

food bill on first day (supermarket) = 650 euros ( beer, beer , beer oh wine too lots, food for breakfast and so on )
supermarket bill keeps going when we need it

Cake shop due to coffee-shops = 20 euros each time i pass the place

trams,trains,cabs gods knows over 300 euro

Weed smoke funds _ we all smoke, that's why we go each one puts in 300 euro each that's 3000 euro
and it all goes up in smoke lol

This year just me and the wife spent over £2000 in 5 days i have no idea the total of what we spent in the group but i now must think why should i go , if this is all true and because i come from England i cant get a smoke or one thats under 15% .I WILL TAKE MY MONEY SOME PLACE ELSE.

Amsterdam is truly a magical place. And to top that off, the Dutch are an amazingly cool people.

Why all these lies and propaganda about Marijuana? God has created this plant, and the plant has been growing long before we human walk the earth.

Marijuana is God's best gift to mankind and womenkind -- and no amount of lies and propaganda and hate is going to change that.

Why all this hate against Marijuana? Why not ban all the politicians and alcohol and tobacco instead? Clearly, they cause much more harm than Marijuana ever could.

What have the tourists and Marijuana lovers ever done in Amsterdam or for that matter, anywhere else, to justify this? We are peaceful, respectful, law-abiding, and we do not cause any troubles. Do you see any person smoking Marijuana and committing a crime?

I don't know about you, but when I smoke Marijuana, I feel like I weigh a fucking ton, and I do not even wish to lift my finger, let alone commit any crime. So, surely, crime is not an issue. So exactly what is wrong with Marijuana to justify all this hate against it?

I just don't get it.
