Red Dragon

The parentage of this line is exotic - a West Himalayan Kush crossed with a true breeding Brazilian sativa. (Utopia Haze) These buds have a distinct and immediate, exotic sativa high, but is followed minutes later by a wonderful undertow of a solid Kush stone that lasts and lasts
Has anyone smoked this before, my dealer has just started to grow it. Says he had a batch before that left him 'paralysed' after half a spliff

I smoked it back in late summer/ fall of 2009 from Barneys too. Strong, stoney stuff (kind of surprised to see that sativa genetics.) Not a lot of flavor for me either. You can see pictures of it in my trip report from back then: https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/viewt ... 26#p103826
Because life is too short to smoke bad bud.

I made the mistake of having this as my first smoke of the trip early one morning when I got into town after a red-eye flight.

Now I'm an experienced/daily toker but this truly brought me to the outskirts of Whiteyville! Had to take deep breaths and drink a Coke and everything!

Wasn't as strong when I bought it again though...

This has recently hit a couple of shops in Groningen, and is currently the best on their menu (but to be fair the other stuff those shops have got now is fairly standard fare or shit; Power Plant, Snow White, White Widow, Big Bud... blech). It's reasonably strong stuff, not particularly memorable in taste or smell, but has a nice balanced high/stone effect.
