Highly limited sampler (300 copies) of the upcoming Amsterdam All Stars compilation..this 12" features an exclusive track from Young Marco (Hand of God / HOG Recordings)
The Amsterdam All Stars release catches the current spirit of house music from Amsterdam. The project is curated by Rush Hour and compiles the latest output from Amsterdam based (or born) house producers. It paints a detailed picture of the nightlife away from the big arena's led by super star performers. Rather, it zooms in on the music that gets played at a small, dark club in one of the city's back streets.
The album includes contributions from long-time Rush Hour affiliates like Awanto3, San Proper and Tom Trago as well as music from extended family members such as Boris Werner, Dexter, Melon, Newworldaquarium and Steve Rachmad. Also some newcomers like Maxi Mill and Simon Weiss are included here.
Prior to the album, a limited, vinyl only sampler featuring two tracks will do the rounds. First up are Juju & Jordash, who weren't born in Amsterdam (and not even in Holland) but have been living here for years and have made a big mark on the local scene with their strong output and live shows. Also present is Young Marco. His output to date has been sparse. He is mostly known for his releases on his own Hand Of God label. Yet, you are more like to be familiar with his visual output, as he also is the in-house designer at Rush Hour and is responsible for all the label artwork.
