I must be a bit of a div because I was under the impression that a hit & run was an offence according to the police if it's only your son's bike which is damaged(no matter that he was knocked off or not) it doesn't matter & they can't/won't do anything about it.

To the CUNT who knocked him off , I've been to all the business's & houses with security cams around where it happened & asked them to check back over them & 1st born just happened to notice the 2 kids in the back of the car were wearing the uniform of the primary school 200ms along the road (all my kids went there), I WILL FIND YOU & YOU WILL EXPLAIN WHY YOU LEFT MY SON ON THE FLOOR YOU USELESS DUMB FUCK

didn't find them this morning or this afternoon , still waiting to hear back from 1 shop & doctors surgery left a msg saying only the police could ask to view their footage even after I'd told them the police would only help if I found out the reg 1st

Also unless there are a load of lying asses around here , hell of a lot of non-working security cams up

Sucks FT. Hope you get it sorted out. The driver needs his ass kicked! Worst of it is, on many of those security systems, they automatically record over previously recorded data after so long, basically in an "endless loop". Could be 24-72 hours or even 30 days, but MOST of the cheaper systems only have a small storage for footage that is constantly recording over itself...so if you do not get something soon, you may be S.O.L. unfortunately. What a fucking asshole this driver was. And he was driving with his kids, excellent example of good behaviour and strong parenting. I'm also a cyclist so i know how irresponsible and dumb some drivers are. Even when in 100% fault, they'd still argue, curse you and sometimes be violent(in my case that's pure stupidity if they act like this). Anyways, I hope you will find this dick and let the justice run its own course. If i'm in the situation like this and driver doesn't seem to listen or he begins to act rude, SPD system always works. You kick the shit out of his mirrors and since the metal pin is in your shoe, they fly and fly, and rude asshole is speechless. But if you want to do things oficially, then go pro camera is my only suggestion, once a taxi driver tried to ram me on the side of the road, i was recording it. Stopped the guy, called police showed them evidence, he faced trial in which he was taken his licence and got some huge fine.

Hope you'll sort this out and get to confront mr dickhead with whatever justice you'll choose.

Cyclist here! I hate cars ! Just last Sunday some hoe try to make road kill out of me I was stopped at stop sign when all a Sudden she decides no to stop and turn at same time ... Ran after her with my gopro on stupid bitch made me waste 2 hours with cop and not once she apologized during the time the cops were asking question and they ended up giving her a ticket after seing my video ... Thank god I got screen to replay videos on my gopro !!

3/6 , 1st born hit by car , 5/6 gets himself a cheap replacement yesterday 15/6 loses £20 of the last £40 he has until payday today while at work his bike was nicked from outside shouldn't laugh but not his month so far his work have it cctv though so the police will atleast have a look & try to recover it I don't have much faith in that tbh

yesterday , 2nd born (with his mate) takes the last £20-30 of his hard earned wages to Stevenage , buys himself some clothes , gets on the wrong train back which is a fast train to Kings X , with 1 stop @ Finsbury Park gets off there rings me to let me know his mistake, told him to just find station staff ,explain & hopefully get back on next train back this way just say bye & hear " oh shit all my stuff's still on the train " he did not find it funny , I did Wifey did & his mate did
He spoke to the station staff who gave him & his mate tickets to get on the next Kings X train & basically chase his bags in the hope someone had given them in , which they hadn't they told him to ring lost property this morning & double check , then gave them both tickets back home

Helping an old mate whos family has grown and flown and he and his Mrs are in the process of downsizing at the moment, so a trip or two to the recycling, and I inherit some nice power tools. Which of course are dangerous in the wrong hands .
