So I'm looking for information on this strain, and BAM, USBL has a post on it. I'm seeing it around these parts, not the funky pheno though. Anyone know it's lineage? It's a really fun smoke, pretty up in a fun stoney kinda way. Taste is Ok, semi-sweet.

In botany, phyllotaxis or phyllotaxy is the arrangement of leaves on a plant stem (from Ancient Greek phýllon "leaf" and táxis "arrangement").[1]
Pattern structure
Opposite leaf pattern
Whorled leaf pattern
Two different examples of the alternate (spiral) leaf pattern
The basic patterns are opposite, or alternate = spiral, Leaves may also be whorled if several leaves do, or appear to arise from the same level on a stem.
With an opposite leaf arrangement, two leaves arise from the stem at the same level (at the same node), on opposite sides of the stem. An opposite leaf pair can be thought of as a whorl of two leaves.
With an alternate (spiral) pattern, each leaf arises at at different point (node) on the stem.
Distichous phyllotaxis, also called "two-ranked leaf arrangement" is a special case of either opposite or alternate leaf arrangement where the leaves on a stem are arranged in two vertical columns on opposite sides of the stem.
Whorled phyllotaxis is a frequent occurance with mj, more often than not they are male, a female is quite rare.

phyllotaxis is the positioning of leaves in relation to the node, the standard as we know is two leaves opposite per node,
whorled phyllotaxis is when you have more than 2, sometimes as many as 6 or 7 branches per node, if the arrangement is stepped, that is spiral phyllotaxy

Very interesting read. Can this be induced somehow? Or simply something at the genetic level?
