Will be in AMS during cup week,not becuz of the cup,but becuz its a Holiday week in the USA ...
Just wondering what impact the Cup will have on the CS scene is general ...
DC- Is NES a participant ? Will shops be more crowded,will prices get jacked up ? ... Haven't been to Ams this time of year in the Cup era ...just curious
and wonder if it'll even be noticably more crowded than say June ...Thanks for any answers

Hey dude, hope all is well. The Nes wont be participating in the cup this year. For no other reason than we find return custom and an increase in new and 'word of mouth' customers is a good enough way of telling us if our weed and the service we provide is any good, or not. Maybe next year when we're just the coffeeshop without the alcohol. Then we can see just how honest it all is. 
The coffeeshops taking part will no doubt get busy over the week and yeah, the city does have a slight increase in stoner buzz factor during that time, but nothing too crazy. There are normally a few scattered parties off the agenda but timed for that week. Everything else, if yer a judge, is effectively already paid for.....always found that interesting, competiton judges that have to pay for the privilege.
Anyway, it's a decent enough time of the year...you should enjoy it, I'll see ya then.
