Off i go again

Post by smeetiva »

Off to the Dam again start of december and this time me and the mrs were thinking about approaching it differently then we usually do. Generally we stick mainly to bud and have a little hash as a treat. this time we decided a nice big bag of bud to keep us going and variety of hash's instead. This means i am a little out of my depth as i know very little about hash. I have trolled my way through the forum and had a nosey at all the hash related threads but i was just wondering if there were people around with up to date opinions on the hash out there and also if any experienced hash smokers have any certain recommendations on either what to smoke or how to smoke it, 90% of the time i prefer to smoke through a bong.

Plus has anyone tried the cheesybutter from baghera? is it good? i am bursting with curiosity when it comes to butters as i have never had chance to sample them

Cheers (glad to be back on the forum forgot all access information((bloody stoner)) so was just reading and not posting)

There is loads of info here on the forum as of late. Cisco just wrote a TR that has several hash reviews. https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/viewt ... 10&t=19171 Here is thread on hash that is easy to roll. coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=18716 And this thread should help with Cheesy Butter coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=18976

Peace

I like the Gardela from de Graal. Kind of a hybrid hash and very tasty. Wanted to try some from CS 33, as Marco commented on, but never made it there.

I like to smoke it from a bowl over some bud, so it doesn't foul the screen right away.

Paradox have a nice little selection of hashes and you can get 5e bags so can try lots, i would personally reccomend the manali jungle and the turkish has from paradox.

+1 on the Turkish from Paradox, get a cake and eat the whole one, if you dare. Strongest edibables in any Dam CS in paradox.

That tri sounds like a great plan. I love hashish. I tent to go on the recommendations of folks that I know and trust on here. One I really like is icsolator but it can be expensive.

If you make it over to Haarlem, the Nepal Temple Ball at Willie Wortel's Indica is (or was, in 2008) really top notch. I'm also a fan of the Brown Sugar from Kadinsky, which I had as recently as April this year. The strongest hash I've ever had--and I mean face-meltingly strong--is the Crystal Clear at Katsu. Not cheap, but reasonable compared to the prices of some others like it.
Finally, I went to Voyagers in April to try the budder I've been hearing so much about. They had a chunk, which he showed us. Almost a neon green. But he wouldn't sell it to us as he said the quality wasn't up to par and he was sending it back to his supplier! It drove us nuts, because believe me we wouldn't have known the difference, and my mouth was literally watering at the site of it. But I have to respect the shop's commitment to providing only the best (everything we had there was really the best of the trip, hands down). We went back every day, but they didn't have any.
SO, if you're in the area, you might want to stop in to see if they have it--not that I can personally recommend it, but all signs point to it being really fabulous!

Have a great time!

Now is it me or would that not happen in other shops, they would have just sold you that shit yet Voyagers wont, that kind of service is worth its weight in GOLD if you ask me. None of this PRICE for locals and PRICE for tourists that other very popular shops are dishing out of late

Have fun 8)
